Haroon Yousaf
Haroon Yousaf (born 10 November 1973) is a Pakistani former footballer. The versatile footballer played as a midfielder and defender. A former captain of the Pakistan national team, Haroon played 49 full internationals for Pakistan between 1992 and 2003 and scored 3 goals. He was praised for his defensive abilities and leadership. Early life Yousaf was born on 10 November 1973 in Mandi Bahauddin, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Club career Early career Yousaf played for Lahore clubs Allah-o-Akbar, City FC, and Defence FC in his youth. He also played briefly for departmental teams of Pakistan Telecommunication and Pakistan Airlines, but his stay there did not last because of internal problems within the departments and housing issues. Mandi Bahauddin () is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is also the capital of Mandi Bahauddin District. It is the 41st most populous city in Pakistan, according to the 2017 census. Baloch FC Nushki is a Pakistani professional football club based in the city of Nushki, Balochistan. The 2010–11 Pakistan Premier League for professional association football was the 7th season of the Pakistan Premier League, since its establishment in 2004, and the 56th season of Pakistan List of Pakistan football champions, domestic league. The 1996 PPF President's Cup was the 10th edition of Pakistan National Football Challenge Cup. 24 teams qualified for the tournament but 3 withdrew as soon as the tournament started. National Football Championship (Pakistan)
The National Football Championship alternatively spelled National Soccer Championship was the men's highest level football competition from 1948 to 2003. Founded by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) in 1948, it was mainly held on knock-out basis. It was eventually replaced by the Pakistan Premier League from the 2004–05 season in order to professionalize the sport in Pakistan. Until 1971, it was run in parallel with the Dhaka League in East Pakistan.
