Hannah Stambaugh
Hannah Stambaugh (born 24 December 1998) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for NWSL club Angel City FC. Junior career Stambaugh joined JFA Academy Fukushima in 2011. She was selected as a candidate for the U-16 Japan Women's National Team in 2013 and was also a candidate for the U-19 Japan Women's National Team 2 years later. In April 2016, she was approved by the Japan Football Association as a 2016 Women's Specially Designated Player. She also began playing for INAC Kobe Leonessa. Club career INAC Kobe Leonessa, 2016–2020 In 2017, she joined INAC Kobe Leonessa. Stambaugh made five appearances during the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, helping the Japanese team win their first title. Angel City Football Club is an American professional Association football, soccer team based in Los Angeles, California, that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The formation of the team was announced on July 21, 2020; it began play in the 2022 National Women's Soccer League season, 2022 season. 2020 Nadeshiko League
The 2020 Nadeshiko League was the 32nd season of the Nadeshiko League, the main league for women's association football in Japan. It was also the 16th season in its current format. The league was originally scheduled to begin on 2 May 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league was finally rescheduled to begin on 18 July 2020 with the first two rounds of matches played behind closed doors. Division 1 The season started on 18 July 2020 and ended in November 2020 with the play-offs to be held days later. The 2019 Nadeshiko League was the 31st season of Japan's women's association football highest division league. Nadeshiko League Division 1 The season started on 21 March 2019 and was completed on 3 November 2019 with the play-offs on 10 November 2019 and 16 November 2019.
