Hama Himeyn
''Hama Himeyn'' is a 2004 Maldivian film directed by Ahmed Nimal. Produced by Sama and Ziya under Corona Arts, the film stars Ali Seezan, Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi and Nashidha Mohamed in pivotal roles. The story of the film was written in 1998 by Mahdi Ahmed and re-written with a modern perspective when director Ahmed Nimal shared his intention to direct a film for his story. Premise Several years later, Aminath (Niuma Mohamed) returns from Chennai, Madras after completing her studies and meets her ex-boyfriend, Faisal (Ali Seezan) who is now married to an emotionally immature wife, Fazeela (Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi). As the film moves forward, Faisal's past life as a drug addict unfolds. Faisal shows up drunk at Aminath's birthday party where he ends their relationship and attacks his father Zahir (Chilhiya Moosa Manik) at home. Ahmed Nimal
Ahmed Nimal is a Maldivian actor, director, editor, writer and producer. Early life Prior to acting in films, Nimal worked at Maldives Meteorological Service office. His interest in films and acting grew due to the influence of his colleagues including Easa Shareef and other friends who actively take part in theatre plays. Career Nimal made his career debut with ''Nufoozu'' (1984), an initiation by Shareef and his colleagues. Initially assigned to work behind the camera, Shareef requested him to star in the lead role of the film due to a date conflict of the original actor who was offered the role first. Aishath Inaya
Aishath Inaya (15 May 1968) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Aishath Inaya is the mother of local performer and musician, Andhala Haleem. Inaya started her career in the music industry in 1987, by performing the song "Keerithi Lha Kujja" for the local band Zero Degree. Afterwards, she lent her voice for songs included in the album series of ''4 Hand'', followed by several stage shows. Fathimath Zoona (20 October 1965) is a Maldivian singer and a recipient of several awards including one Gaumee Film Award and one Aafathis Award. Early life and career Fathimath Zoona was born on 20 October 1965 in Male'. During her childhood days, she frequently listened to old Bollywood songs and decided to pursue a career in music industry. Ali Shameel is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career In 1986, Shameel took part in a stage-play titled CDS-6, alongside Kashima Shakir, Mohamed Rasheed and Chilhiya Moosa Manik which was appreciated among the audience and he continues to feature in several other stage dramas. Moosa Manik commonly known as Chilhiya Moosa Manik (30 January 1940 – 24 August 2021) was a Maldivian film actor and writer. Early life In 1977, while studying at Majeediyya School, Manik participated in the theatre play performed to celebrate the Golden jubilee of Majeediyya School. He then joined several other theatre performances as a hobby though his first priority lies in sketching and drawing, followed by writing. His most notable performance as a theatre artist includes his role as Viyazor; the administrative chief of the Kingdom of Portugal, Portuguese kingdom who invaded and ruled over Maldives.
