Health Authority
Between 1996 and 2002, the National Health Service in England and Wales was organised under health authorities (HAs). There were 95 HAs at the time of their abolition in England in 2002, and they reported to the eight regional offices of the NHS Executive. They generally covered groups of one or more complete local authority districts (LADs), but there were cases where LADs were split. They were established in 1996 by the Health Authorities Act 1995. They took on the functions of the abolished District health authority, district health authorities (DHAs) and Family health services authority, family health services authorities (FHSAs). There were five HAs in Wales, reporting to the National Assembly. The HAs were divided into a total of 22 local health groups (LHGs), one in each of the Welsh unitary authorities. Hemagglutinin (influenza)
Influenza hemagglutinin (HA) or haemagglutinin#Notes, [p] (British English) is a homotrimeric glycoprotein found on the surface of influenza viruses and is integral to its infectivity. Hemagglutinin is a class I fusion protein, having multifunctional activity as both an attachment factor and membrane fusion protein. Therefore, HA is responsible for binding influenza viruses to sialic acid on the Cell membrane, surface of target cells, such as cells in the Respiratory tract, upper respiratory tract or erythrocytes, resulting in the Receptor-mediated endocytosis, internalization of the virus. Hypochondriasis or hypochondria is a condition in which a person is excessively and unduly worried about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is an old concept whose meaning has repeatedly changed over its lifespan. It has been claimed that this debilitating condition results from an inaccurate perception of the condition of body or mind despite the absence of an actual medical diagnosis. Polycystic ovary syndrome, or polycystic ovarian syndrome, (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age. The name is a misnomer, as not all women with this condition develop cysts on their ovaries. Dubnium is a synthetic chemical element; it has symbol Db and atomic number 105. It is highly radioactive: the most stable known isotope, dubnium-268, has a half-life of about 16 hours. Ha Gorge
Ha Gorge () is a narrow Canyon, gorge, at the Monasteraki Dakos, on the eastern part of the island of Crete in Greece. It is located in the west slope of Thrypti mountain range, and exits east of Vasiliki, Lasithi, Vasiliki village in the plain of Ierapetra. From this location scenic views overlook Pahia Amos and the bay. Being practically inaccessible to people, the gorge maintains a rich and diverse flora and fauna.
