Gunaah (2002 Film)
''Gunaah'' () is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language thriller film directed by Amol Shetge, written by Mahesh Bhatt and starring Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea and Irrfan Khan. The film was released on 20 September 2002. The movie arrived with high expectations as it was released a few months after the blockbuster '' Raaz'' featuring same team but met with lukewarm response by critics and audience. Mahesh Bhatt (born 20 September 1948) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter known for his works in Hindi cinema. Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He won Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist 4 times during his career. He wrote over 6000 film songs in more than 300 films. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan.
