Guindy is a neighborhood of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Kathipara junction where Anna Salai, Mount-Poonamallee Road, Inner Ring Road, 100 Feet Road or Jawaharlal Nehru Road, and GST Road meet here. It is one of the important nodal points of road traffic in the metropolitan area. It is also a commercial hub. Mount-Poonamallee Road
St. Thomas Mount-Poonamallee Road, popularly known as the Mount-Poonamallee Road (SH-55), is an arterial road in the city of Chennai, India. It runs for 11 kilometres from Kathipara Junction to the National Highway 4 (India, old numbering), NH 4 highway connecting St. Thomas Mount with the suburb of Poonamallee. A 5-kilometre stretch of the Mount-Poonamallee Road is located in the Alandur taluk of Chennai district, part of Maduravoyal taluk, Maduravoyal Taluk in Chennai district and the remainder in the Poonamallee taluk of Thiruvallur district. Guindy (Chennai Suburban Railway)
Guindy railway station is one of the railway stations of the Chennai Beach–Chengalpattu section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. It serves the neighbourhood of Guindy, a suburb of Chennai. It is located at about 14 km from Chennai Beach terminus and is situated at NH 45 in Anna Salai, with an elevation of 12 m above sea level. Guindy National Park is a Protected areas of Tamil Nadu, protected area, located in Chennai, India. Parangimalai
Parangimalai (known in English as St. Thomas Mount) is a small hillock in the Chennai district of Tamil Nadu, India, near the neighbourhood of Guindy and very close to Chennai International Airport. By extension, it is also the name of the neighbourhood surrounding the hillock. The neighbourhood is served by the St. Thomas Mount railway station, on the southern line of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network.
