Guillermo Celi
Guillermo Alejandro Celi Santos (born February 5, 1976) is a doctor of jurisprudence, lawyer, and Ecuadorian politician, known for being the national director of the SUMA Party. On May 17, 2017, he took office as a National Assembly Member after being elected in the 2017 Ecuadorian general election for the SUMA- CREO alliance. Biography Celi was born on February 5, 1976, in the city of Portoviejo, province of Manabí. He completed his secondary studies at the Cristo Rey Educational Unit of Portoviejo and his higher education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, where he obtained his doctorate in jurisprudence. Patriotic Society Party
The Patriotic Society Party (, PSP), formerly the January 21 Patriotic Society () is a populist and personalist political party in Ecuador, led by former army colonel Lucio Gutiérrez. "January 21" refers to the date of the 2000 Ecuadorian coup d'état. At the legislative elections, 20 October 2002, the party won at least two out of one hundred seats, and additional seats in alliances with other parties. General elections were held in Ecuador on 17 February 2013 to elect the President, the National Assembly, Provincial Assemblies and members of the Andean Parliament. The incumbent President Rafael Correa was re-elected by a wide margin. Correa's closest electoral rival, Guillermo Lasso, conceded the election shortly after it concluded. The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE) (English: ''Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador'') is a Pontifical Catholic university founded in 1946 in Quito, Ecuador.
