Greyson Nekrutman
Greyson Nekrutman (born June 13, 2002) is an American musician, who is the current drummer of Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura and former drummer of crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. Biography Nekrutman started playing drums at age four, being taught many genres, including Latin, jazz and rock. He became known as a jazz and big band drummer, being influenced by the likes of Sonny Payne, Louie Bellson, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Max Roach and Art Blakey, as well as other jazz influenced drummers like Carter Beauford, Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker. He is featured on William Duvall (Alice in Chains)'s album ''11.12.21 Live-In-Studio Nashville'', which was released in June 2022. He gained more recognition when he joined crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies, in April 2023, replacing Brandon Pertzborn. Art Blakey
Arthur Blakey (October 11, 1919 – October 16, 1990) was an American jazz drummer and bandleader. He was also known as Abdullah Ibn Buhaina after he converted to Islam for a short time in the late 1940s. Blakey made a name for himself in the 1940s in the big bands of Fletcher Henderson and Billy Eckstine. He then worked with bebop musicians Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, and Dizzy Gillespie. In the mid-1950s, Horace Silver and Blakey formed the Jazz Messengers, a group that the drummer was associated with for the next 35 years. Slipknot (band)
Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011–2014 by guitarist Donnie Steele. Jordison was dismissed from the band on December 12, 2013. Jay Weinberg
Jay Weinberg is an American musician and the current drummer for the heavy metal band Slipknot. He is the son of drummer Max Weinberg. He has played with the punk rock band the Reveling and toured in 2009 as a drummer with Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, substituting for his father. During 2010, he was briefly the drummer for Madball. During 2011 and 2012, Weinberg played with Against Me!. In 2014, Weinberg replaced Joey Jordison as the drummer for Slipknot. Eloy Casagrande (born 29 January 1991) is a Brazilian musician, best known as the drummer of thrash metal band Sepultura and hard rock act Iahweh. Biography Casagrande replaced Jean Dolabella in Sepultura, who left the band in November 2011, and is their youngest member. He is also known for his time with power metal singer Andre Matos and post-hardcore/metalcore band Gloria. Casagrande began playing at age seven, when he got a toy drum from his mother; after a year, he got a real drum kit. In 2004, at age 13, he was the winner of the Batuka International Drummer Fest, sponsored by Vera Figueiredo. Alice in Chains (often abbreviated as AIC) is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley. Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993. William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who had died in 2002. William DuVall
William Bradley DuVall (born September 6, 1967) is an American musician best known as the current co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the Rock music, rock band Alice in Chains. He joined Alice in Chains in 2006, replacing the band's original lead singer, Layne Staley, who died in 2002, and shares vocal duties with guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell. DuVall has recorded three albums with the band: 2009's ''Black Gives Way to Blue'', 2013's ''The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here'', and 2018's ''Rainier Fog''.
