Brett Goodin
Brett Goodin (born 12 May 1985) is a New Zealand rugby union player. He plays Scrum-Half for the ITM Cup franchise, Taranaki. Goodin played 75 games for Taranaki after making his debut in 2006 against Waikato. He made one Super Rugby appearance after being called into the Hurricanes in 2008. He was also called into the Chiefs in 2009 but did not take the field. Goodin has international experience as well with the New Zealand Under 19's. Early years Goodin was a member of the New Zealand U19 team which won the 2004 IRB World Championship in Durban, a side coached by Hurricanes Assistant Coach Aussie Mclean and featuring fellow Hurricanes players Hika Elliot, Willie Ripia and Jeremy Thrush. Stephen Goodin (born August 25, 1988) is an American football offensive guard who is a free agent. He played college football at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and attended Hastings Senior High School in Hastings, Nebraska. He has also been a member of the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. Early years Goodin played high school football for the Hastings Senior High School Tigers, earning All-state honors as a tight end. Peggy Louise Goodin (May 18, 1923 – August 23, 1983) was a best-selling American novelist and three-time Hopwood Award winner. Two of her novels were adapted into films. Life and career Peggy Louise Goodin was born to Goldie Leona Shimp and James Lawrence Goodin, an automobile dealer, in Kansas City, Missouri, and grew up in Bluffton, Indiana. She later said that she spent her time in Bluffton "trying to make the boys' football team, winning medals for oratory, and annoying her teachers." Goodin was involved in literary pursuits from an early age, serving as the editor of her school paper and yearbook. Goodin earned an A.B. from the University of Michigan in 1945. While there, she won the prestigious Hopwood Award in 1942, 1943, and 1945. Her final win was for the work that would become her first novel, ''Clementine'', which she wrote in the basement of the Chi Omega house on campus. Terry Allen Goodin (born December 31, 1966) is a former Democratic member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 66th District from 2000 to 2020. Goodin was first elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2000. Goodin represents the citizens of Indiana House District 66 in the Indiana House of Representatives. Goodin served as the Minority Leader of the House for a partial term following the resignation of Scott Pelath. He was not re-elected to the position by the Democratic caucus. John R. (born John Richbourg, August 20, 1910 - February 15, 1986) was an American radio disc jockey who attained fame in the 1950s and 1960s for playing rhythm and blues music on Nashville radio station WLAC. He was also a notable record producer and artist manager. Richbourg was arguably the most popular and charismatic of the four announcers at WLAC who showcased popular African-American music in nightly programs from the late 1940s to the early 1970s. (The other three were Gene Nobles, Herman Grizzard, and Bill "Hoss" Allen.) Later rock music disc jockeys, such as Alan Freed and Wolfman Jack, mimicked Richbourg's practice of using speech that simulated African-American street language of the mid-twentieth century. Richbourg's highly stylized approach to on-air presentation of both music and advertising earned him popularity, but it also created identity confusion.
