Godfrey Fryar
Godfrey Charles Fryar was the eleventh Bishop of Rockhampton in the Anglican Church of Australia. Early life Fryar was educated at All Souls' Charters Towers. Religious life Fryar and ordained in 1973. He was a Bush Brother until 1976 after which he held incumbencies in Rockhampton, Mackay and Stafford, Queensland. From 1993 to 1998 he was Dean of St Saviour's Cathedral, Goulburn. On 13 December 1998, he was consecrated a bishop at St Saviour's Cathedral, Goulburn, to serve as Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn and installed as Rector of St John's Church Wagga Wagga. The Diocese of Rockhampton (also known as Anglican Church Central Queensland) is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia, founded in 1892. The Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn is one of the 23 dioceses of the Anglican Church of Australia. The diocese has 60 parishes covering most of south-east New South Wales, the eastern Riverina and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). David Robinson (bishop)
David Robinson is an Australian bishop in the Anglican Church of Australia. He served as the 12th Bishop of Rockhampton from 3 September 2014 to 22 February 2020. Early life and parish ministry Robinson was born in the United Kingdom but emigrated to Adelaide in 1970. Prior to working in ministry he worked for the South Australian Government in water management, then moved to Canberra to study at St Mark's National Theological Centre. During the 1980s Robinson worked with indigenous students in Darwin and worked in Bangladesh with the Anglican Board of Missions. He was ordained in 1994 and until his ordination to the episcopate worked in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn in parishes in Gundagai, Kooringal and Curtin. Ronald Francis Ron Stone AM (born 10 September 1938) is a retired Australian bishop. He was the 10th Bishop of Rockhampton in the Anglican Church of Australia from 1996 to 2003.
