Gloria Paul (born 28 February 1940) is a British retired film actress and dancer. Biography Paul was born in London in February 1940. Her father was a journalist and her mother was an opera singer. She began dancing at the age of three years, and began her professional career after high school. While on tour in Rome with an Argentinian ballet company, she decided to quit the company and try her luck in the film industry. She quickly became an appreciated actress in comedies, having her first major role in '' Totò, Peppino e... la dolce vita''. Gloria Mann was an American pop singer born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mann scored two hits on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in 1955. The first was a cover version of "Earth Angel", which reached number 18. Later that year, " A Teenage Prayer" peaked at number 19; this featured Sid Bass leading the backing orchestra. Gloria Lynne (born Gloria Wilson; November 23, 1929 – October 15, 2013), also known as Gloria Alleyne, was an American jazz vocalist with a recording career spanning from 1958 to 2007. Career Lynne was born in Harlem in 1929 to John and Mary Wilson, a gospel singer. She grew up in Harlem, and as a young girl, Lynne sang with the local African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church Choir. At the age of 15, she won first prize at the Amateur Night contest at the Apollo Theater.
