Glenn Capacio
Glenn Capacio (born May 15, 1964, in Palo, Leyte) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the former head coach of PBA team GlobalPort Batang Pier and was also the former head coach of the FEU Tamaraws from 2007 to 2010. College and amateur career Capacio was the FEU Tamaraws' skipper during the 1983 UAAP season and the most dependable performer for rookie coach Bong Chua. He started his basketball career at Far Eastern University under coach Arturo Valenzona for two years and a year under coach Chee Poblete. He studied at Leyte Institute of Technology during high school and later moved to Manila and joined the Trinity College team for a year until graduation before moving on to FEU. Glenn's commercial basketball club experience includes playing for YCO Shine Masters and RFM-Swift Hotdogs in the PABL. NCAA Season 91
NCAA Season 91 is the 2015–16 collegiate athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines. It is hosted by Mapua Institute of Technology and was opened on June 27, 2015, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay hosted by Andrei Felix and Myrtle Sarrosa and ended on March 8, 2016, with the Cheerleading Competition and closing ceremonies, as the final event held at the MOA Arena, also hosted by Felix and Sarrosa, together with Anton Roxas, Migs Bustos, Ceej Tantengco and Roxanne Montealegre. This will be the first season after the NCAA renewed broadcasting deal with ABS-CBN Sports, after a 3-year contract with Sports5. UAAP Season 79 (also known as UAAP LXXIX) is the 2016–2017 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season, hosted by the University of Santo Tomas officially opened on September 3, 2016. The opening ceremony was held at the UST Plaza Mayor at 3:00 pm with the formal introduction of ballroom dancing as a demonstration sport in this season by the host school University of Santo Tomas (UST) at España, Manila. The official ceremony started at 5:00 pm as there was a concert party themed "Dare to Dream" where the official theme song for the season was revealed. UAAP Season 68 was the 2005–06 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Several events were held, the most prominent was the basketball tournament. The tournament is divided into three divisions: the Juniors tournament for high school students, the Women's tournament for female college students, and the Men's tournament for male college students The FEU Tamaraws swept the defending champions La Salle Green Archers, 2 games to none in the Men's tournament to take their record-breaking 19th title, with Arwind Santos as the Finals MVP. The PBA All-Star Game is an exhibition game hosted annually by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), matching the league's star players using various formats. It is the featured event of PBA All-Star Weekend. The All-Star game was first staged at The ULTRA on June 4, 1989. The starting lineup for each squad is selected by a fan ballot, while the reserves are chosen by a vote among the head coaches of the league's teams.
