Ricky Relosa
Ricardo Relosa (born March 16, 1960), is a retired Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association, where he played both center and forward positions. After a brief amateur career where he became part of the first batch of local players recruited for the national training team, the Northern Cement basketball team coached by the late Ron Jacobs, Relosa turned professional in 1982 playing for the popular Toyota Super Corollas team. The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Magnolia Hotshots for the third-most titles overall. They were one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. The Aces won nine PBA championships in the 1990s, including a rare grand slam (winning three championships in one season) during the 1996 season, joining the Crispa Redmanizers (1976, 1983), San Miguel Beermen (1989), and the San Mig Super Coffee Mixers ( 2013–14) as one of only four franchises to achieve the feat. The Great Taste Coffee Makers were a basketball team that played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) from 1975 to 1992. It was one of the founding members of the PBA, the Asia's first and oldest professional league. The franchise was owned by CFC Corporation (now merged with Universal Robina Corporation) and named after its brand of instant coffee, Great Taste Coffee. Melchor "Biboy" Ravanes (born January 6, 1959) is a former Filipino professional basketball player and former head coach of the San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Basketball Association. Prior to this, he was SMB's longtime assistant coach. Player profile Ravanes was part of a wave of Cebuano cagers recruited by the squad, then known as San Miguel Braves in the MICAA.
