Giorgino
''Giorgino'' is a 1994 French thriller film directed by Laurent Boutonnat. Plot In the 1918 war-stricken Giorgio Volli returns to the orphanage where he had been working with children for a while. When arriving he finds out that the tragedy had happened in the house – the wife of the orphanage owner had committed suicide. He couldn't manage to save her. Soon after, it was revealed that the house is almost empty and abandoned, and the children died under unclear circumstances, only one girl named Catherine survived. Giorgio starts to investigate what had happened. Through mysteries and hidden truth, he finds out that the orphanage owner, Doctor Degrace, could be involved in psychiatric experiments with children, which might lead to a tragedy. His daughter – Catherine – is autistic, but she is the only witness of life and death of children; thus, she became a key person for Giorgio to unriddle mysteries of Dr. Degrace. Jeff Dahlgren is an American actor, singer, guitarist and music producer. Dahlgren's career includes singing in punk rock band Wasted Youth, star in the London-based film/mini-series ''Kosmos'', and star of the French film '' Giorgino''. As a studio guitarist he has played on the highest-selling albums in French history and as lead guitarist performed in the largest grossing tours in Europe. Laurent Boutonnat (born 14 June 1961) is a French composer and film and music video director, best known as the songwriting partner of Mylène Farmer and the director of several groundbreaking music videos. Career Born in Paris, Laurent Boutonnat directed his first film, ''Ballade de la Féconductrice'', at age 17, while the film itself is rated 18. It would later be screened off competition at the Festival de Cannes. The movie contains multiple graphic elements that would characterize Boutonnat's provocative style. In 1984, having composed a song called "Maman a tort" with Jérôme Dahan which required a female singer, they started auditioning, and Mylène Farmer, a young student in acting, showed up. John Abineri
John Abineri (18 May 1928 – 29 June 2000) was an English actor. Born in London, he attended the Old Vic drama school and described himself as "Well educated from the age of five to eighteen". He spoke a number of languages (including German, Russian and French) fluently, which led to him being cast as a number of different nationalities. His extensive television performances included numerous roles in cult TV drama series, for which he is now probably best remembered.
