Giorgi Pantsulaia
Giorgi Pantsulaia ( ka, გიორგი ფანცულაია; born 6 January 1994) is a Georgian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Erovnuli Liga club Samgurali. Pantsulaia is the son of Mamuka Pantsulaia, a joint top scorer of the inaugural season of the Georgian championship and participant of the national team's historic first official match. Giorgi Pantsulaia was a squad member of national youth teams, including in 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He has won the Erovnuli Liga and Georgian Super Cup with Dinamo Batumi. Career Panstulaia started his professional Torpedo Kutaisi at the age of 17. In a first top-league game against Kolkheti Poti he came off the bench to replace Revaz Gotsiridze on 8 March 2012. 2011–12 Umaglesi Liga
The 2011–12 Umaglesi Liga was the 23rd season of top-tier football in Georgia. It began on 6 August 2011 and ended on 21 May 2012. The league added two teams for this season, increasing its size from ten to twelve teams. The league was won by Zestaponi, who successfully defended their title. Metalurgi Rustavi, Torpedo Kutaisi and Dila Gori qualified for the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League, while Spartaki Tskhinvali and Gagra were relegated. Changes from 2010–11 season The league expanded from ten to twelve teams for this season. In order to accommodate the additional teams, the competition mode was changed from a single-phase, quadruple round-robin schedule to a double-phase championship. Erovnuli Liga Awards
Тhe Erovnuli Liga awards is an annual awards ceremony commemorating association football players, managers and referees involved in the top Georgian football league. Established after the introduction of the Erovnuli Liga in 2017, the event is usually held at the end of each season by the Georgian Football Federation in Tbilisi, Georgia. Based on surveys among the national team members, football managers, team captains, sport experts and retired players, most outstanding individuals are selected in certain nominations. The vote in general covers not only the first-tier football, but also Georgian footballers playing abroad, the Futsal and Women's leagues. Revaz Gotsiridze
Revaz Gotsiridze ( ka, რევაზ გოცირიძე; born 17 January 1981) is a Georgian football manager and a former player, currently in charge of Erovnuli Liga 2 club Gonio. Club career Gotsiridze started playing football at the age of 10 at ''Norchi Dinamo''. Later he joined the reserve team of Dinamo Tbilisi under Vakhtang Kopaleishvili before signing for WIT Georgia. Gotsiridze left Georgia for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in April 2003. But in end of season he was sent back to WIT Georgia. At WIT Georgia, he became team top-scorer and scored in champions playoffs to win Umaglesi Liga in 2004. Kolkheti Poti
FC Kolkheti 1913, commonly referred to as Kolkheti Poti, is a Georgian football club based in Poti. The team competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top division of Georgian football. Being registered in 1913, Kolkheti is considered one of the oldest clubs in the South Caucasus. They are the two-time winners of the Soviet republican championship. After an independent Umaglesi Liga was formed in 1990, Kolkheti joined it as a 3rd-tier club and subsequently spent 17 successive seasons before worsening financial problems resulted in their first relegation. Georgian Super Cup
The Georgian Super Cup is a super cup tournament in Georgian football. Founded in 1996 as a two-team competition, the current version has been contested since 2023 by four teams, those being the first, second, and third placed teams in the Erovnuli Liga, as well as the winners of the Georgian Cup. Formerly, the tournament used to be a single football match solely played between the champions of the Erovnuli Liga and the winners of the Georgian Cup. When a club had won both competitions, the Georgian Cup losing finalists play for the Super Cup. This occurred in 1996, 1997, 2013 and 2014 when Dinamo Tbilisi won the double on all four occasions. 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was the 12th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, since its reclassification from an under-18 tournament in 2002, and the 62nd since the tournament was created in 1948.
