Gandhi Alimasi Djuna (born 6 May 1986), known professionally as Maître Gims and more recently just Gims (stylized in all caps), is a Congolese singer, rapper, producer, and songwriter. He grew up in France and currently lives in France and Morocco. He rose to fame as a member of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assaut. He pursued an individual career under the name Maître Gims in 2013. He previously released an extended play in 2006, titled '' Ceux qui dorment les yeux ouverts''. During his career he has worked with several international artists such as Sia, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Stromae, Maluma, Sting, and others. He has sold over 5 million records, including 3 million albums since the start of his career. Sexion d'Assaut (), formerly known as 3ème Prototype (for "Troisième Prototype" ), was a French hip hop band formed in 2002, composed of eight Parisian rappers. They are signed to independent record label Wati B, which is under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment France. The founding members were L.I.O. Black M, Maska (rapper), Maska and Lefa (rapper), Lefa. In 2003, it became a collective as Maître Gims and JR O Crom joined in. Monstre Marin Corporation (Sea Monster Corporation) known as MMC was a French record label, located in Paris. It was founded by rapper and singer Gims, and was affiliated with the Universal Music France record company. The first compilation of the label ''La Monster Party chapitre 1'' was published on 30 June 2014. At the same time, Gims opened a management firm called Warano Consulting. Dadju Alimasi Nsungula (; born 2 May 1991), better known by the mononym Dadju or at times Prince Dadj, is a French-Congolese singer. He was signed to the label Wati B and in 2017 signed with Polydor Records of Universal Music Group. He was a member of the musical formation Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016. Abdel Karim Fall, better known by his stage name Lefa (born 28 November 1985 in Paris), is a French rapper, singer and dancer. He is a founding member of the French rap / hip hop collective Sexion d'Assaut. He has also released solo materials in 2015 and 2016.
