Gilbert Onyekachukwu Ibezim (born Mbaukwu, Awka South, Nigeria) is a Nigerian politician and medical doctor who is the current Deputy Governor of Anambra State since 17 March 2022. Ibezim won the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial elections alongside his running mate Charles Soludo on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is a political party in Nigeria. Electoral history At the legislative elections held on 12 April 2003, the party won 1.4% of popular votes and 2 of 360 seats in the House of Representatives of Nigeria but no seats in the Senate.
