"Ggum" is the debut solo single by South Korean singer Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together. It was released digitally by Big Hit Music on September 19, 2024, followed by a physical release on October 29, 2024. Background and release On September 6, 2024, it was reported that Yeonjun would be making his solo debut that same month. Three days later, Big Hit announced Yeonjun's debut single "Ggum". Yeonjun
Choi Yeon-jun (; born September 13, 1999), known mononymously as Yeonjun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and dancer. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together, which debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in March 2019. He debuted as a soloist in September 2024 with the song " Ggum". Early life Choi Yeon-jun was born on September 13, 1999, in Seongbuk District, Seoul, South Korea as an only child. After graduating from Korean Arts High School, he enrolled in Global Cyber University. Career Pre-debut Prior to his debut, he trained under Big Hit Entertainment for four years. Throughout his four years of training, Yeonjun became known as the company's "legendary trainee" because he consistently ranked first during monthly evaluations in dance, vocal performance and rap. "PS5" is a song by American singer-songwriter Salem Ilese and Yeonjun and Taehyun from South Korean boy group Tomorrow X Together, featuring Norwegian DJ and record producer Alan Walker, It was released on February 23, 2022. The song is known for a vocal remix by Abdul Cisse about a Fortnite Battle Pass. An official remix was released 3 months later, with Cisse replacing TXT as the secondary vocalist and Walker's trap production.
