Gezary Matuda
Gezary Matuda is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt practitioner from Brazil. A two-time World and Pan Champion in colored belts, she is a three-time IBJJF World Champion, a three-time Pan American Champion, and a European Open black belt Champion. Career Gezary Matuda Bandeira was born on 12 July 1983 in Curitiba, Brazil. Matuda started training Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) in 2004, in addition to Capoeira and Muay Thai. Her first BJJ teacher was Carlos ‘Penão’ Alexandre Conceição, a black belt under Carlson Gracie, from whom she received all her belts from white to purple. She kept training in Muay Thai, one of her first teachers being Anderson Silva. As a blue belt in 2009, she won the CBJJF South American Cup then the CBJJE World Cup. Carlos Gracie (September 14, 1902October 7, 1994) was a Brazilian martial artist who is credited with being one of the primary developers of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Along with his younger brother Hélio Gracie and fellow students Luis França and Oswaldo Fadda, he helped develop Brazilian jiu-jitsu based on the teachings of famed Japanese ''judōka'' Mitsuyo Maeda in Kano Jujitsu (Judo) and is widely considered to be the martial-arts patriarch of the Gracie family. naturalized as Otávio Maeda (),Virgílio, p. 9 was a Japanese people, Japanese-born judo, ''judōka'' and prizefighter in no holds barred competitions. He was known as Count Combat or ''Conde Koma'' in Spanish and Portuguese, a nickname he picked up in Spain in 1908. Submission (combat Sports)
A submission, also called a "tap out" is a combat sports term for yielding to the opponent, resulting in an immediate defeat. A submission is often performed by visibly tapping the floor or opponent with the hand or foot, or by verbalizing to the opponent or referee of the competition. In combative sports where the fighter has cornermen, the cornerman can also stop the fight by " throwing in the towel" (either by literally throwing in a towel or by verbalizing to the official), which may count as a submission. To force a submission a fighter must do a submission hold, of which there are two categories. Laurence Cousin Fouillat (born 7 August 1981) is a French submission grappler and fourth degree black belt Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor and instructor. Flying Armbar

Michelle Zonato Nicolini or Michelle Nicolini (born January 5, 1982) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and mixed martial artist (MMA). Among the most accomplished female grapplers of all time, Nicolini holds third place for most IBJJF World Championship titles, with eight wins. She is a member of the IBJJF Hall of Fame.
