Gerry McCarthy
Gerald Francis McCarthy (born 30 June 1958) is an Australian politician. He was a Australian Labor Party (Northern Territory Branch), Labor member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, holding the seat of Electoral division of Barkly, Barkly from the 2008 Northern Territory general election, 2008 general election until he retired at the 2020 Northern Territory general election, 2020 election. He was Minister for Housing and Community Development (Northern Territory), Minister for Housing and Community Development, Minister for Essential Services (Northern Territory), Minister for Essential Services and Minister for Public Employment (Northern Territory), Minister for Public Employment in the Gunner Ministry from September 2016 to 2020. Paul Andrew Kirby (born 27 February 1966) is an Australian politician. He was the Labor member for Port Darwin in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 2016 to 2024. Early life and career Kirby was the Northern Territory Organiser for the Electrical Trades Union of Australia Queensland and NT Branch before entering politics. Politics Kirby was preselected as the Labor candidate for Port Darwin ahead of the 2016 Territory election. The seat's incumbent, John Elferink of the Country Liberal Party, was retiring. Port Darwin had historically been a CLP stronghold, having been in that party's hands for all but two terms of its entire existence. Peter Styles (politician)
Peter Donald Styles (born 8 July 1953) is an Australian politician. He was a Country Liberal Party member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 2008 to 2016, representing the electorate of Sanderson. Born in Perth, Western Australia, Styles owned and operated a multi-purpose ship and worked as a public servant for the state government, before joining Western Australia Police. In 1981, he moved to Darwin and transferred to the Northern Territory Police where he served for 27 years. In 1991, he was awarded the National Medal, and was upgraded to 1st clasp in 2001. Eva Dina Lawler (; born 18 August 1962) is an Australian former politician who served as the 13th chief minister of the Northern Territory from 2023 to 2024, holding office as the leader of the Territory Labor Party. Peter Glen Chandler (born 18 July 1965) is an Australian politician. He was a Country Liberal Party member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, and held the seat of Brennan from 2008 to 2016. Chanston James "Chansey" Paech (, ; born 1987) is an Australian politician.
