Garrett Halfhill
Garrett Halfhill (born July 26, 1993) is an American soccer player who currently plays for New York Cosmos in the National Premier Soccer League. Early life Halfhill was born on July 26, 1993, in San Diego, California, to parents Robert and Cheryl Halfhill. He grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he attended Landstown High School from 2008 to 2011. He has two sisters, Janelle and Amber. Career Youth Halfhill played soccer for his high school team, the Landstown Eagles, for all four years of his attendance. In his freshman year, he participated in Landstown winning their first Beach District championship title. He received many accolades in high school, including being selected for the All-Virginia Beach Team three times. The 2017 FC Cincinnati season was the club's second season of existence, and their second in the United Soccer League (USL). It was FC Cincinnati's first season as a second-tier team in the U.S. soccer pyramid, as the United States Soccer Federation provisionally promoted the USL from Division III to Division II for the 2017 season. 2015 PDL Season
The 2015 USL Premier Development League season was the 21st season of the PDL and consisted of 63 teams. The regular season began on May 2 and ended on July 19. The Michigan Bucks were the defending champions and posted the best overall record in the League; however, they were defeated by K-W United FC in the Central Conference finals. K-W United went on to win the league championship by defeating the Seattle Sounders FC U-23 1-0 in the semi-finals and in high scoring final they overcame the New York Red Bulls U-23 4-3. 63 clubs competed in the semi-professional soccer leagues. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system.
