2013 PDL Season
The 2013 USL Premier Development League season was the 19th season of the PDL. The regular season began on May 4 with three matches and ended on July 21 with nine matches. The regular season was followed by a postseason tournament of conference winners to determine the league's champion. Four teams were added to the league and 13 teams dropped, bringing the total number of teams in the league to 64 across nine divisions for 2013. Thunder Bay Chill
Thunder Bay Chill Soccer Club is a Canadian soccer team based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2000, the team played in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the United States soccer pyramid from 2000 to 2024. The team plays its home games at Chapples Park Stadium. The team's colours are white and blue. The club also has a large youth program, with over 2000 youth players. History The Thunder Bay Chill were established in 2000 by founder Tony Colistro. They played their first home match on May 27, 2000, against the Wisconsin Rebels, losing 4–0. In 2002, they were named the PDL Organization of the Year. In 2007, the Chill won their first Heartland Division title. Vermont Voltage
Vermont Voltage was an American soccer team based in St. Albans, Vermont, United States. Founded in 1997, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference, having spent the 2009 season on hiatus. The Voltage folded after the 2014 season. The team played its home games at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex. The team's colors were yellow, blue and black. History Founded as the Vermont Wanderers in 1997, the team played in the USL Second Division from 1997 to 1998 before moving to the Premier Development League, where it would compete from 1999 to 2014, with a one-year hiatus in 2009. Real Boston Rams
The Real Boston Rams were an American amateur soccer club based in Quincy, Massachusetts, Quincy, Massachusetts. The Rams play in the USL Premier Development League, the fourth division of the American soccer pyramid. Founded in 2012, the club played until 2015. History The club was granted a franchise into the PDL on December 17, 2012. The Rams announced in April 2013 that they were to become the affiliate club of New England Revolution, allowing the Revolution's college aged academy players to turn out for the Rams. The deal also meant that revolution coaching staff would assist in the development of Rams players. The club played its first ever game, a friendly against Newtown Soccer Club on May 5, 2013. Miami Dutch Lions FC is an American professional soccer club based in the Miami metropolitan area. The Lions competes in National Premier Soccer League, as a member of the Sunshine Conference. The club was founded in Conroe, Texas in 2011, before relocating to Olympia Heights, Florida in 2019. They are owned by Martin Kroeze. NJ-LUSO Parma is an American soccer team based in Denville, New Jersey, United States. Founded in 2007, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Mid Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. K-W United FC
The Kennedy K-W is an American high-wing, strut-braced, single-seat Glider (sailplane), glider that was designed by Harold Kennedy of Dodge City, Kansas, with assistance from Floyd Watson. USL Premier Development League
USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league will feature 144 teams for the 2025 season, split into nineteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The Seacoast United Phantoms are the current champions, having defeated Peoria City 3–2 in extra time to win the 2024 USL League Two Championship final on August 3, 2024. Chicago Fire U-23 was an American soccer team based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Founded in 2001, the team last played in the PDL, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.
