Garam Masala (1972 Film)
''Garam Masala'' is a 1972 Hindi-language comedy film, produced by C. Mohan under the Balaji Kala Mandir banner and directed by Aspi Irani. It stars Aruna Irani and Mehmood in lead roles, while Ashok Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Jeetendra and Hema Malini have given special appearances. The music of the film was composed by R. D. Burman. Plot The film is a tale of a clash of ideologies-whether might is right or right is might. All was not well in the kingdom of Sabzbag. The king was missing for quite a few years and the prince was in the training center of Hercules growing up to be a worthy king. But Captain Kishore who was the despotic ruler had instructed Hercules to train the young king in everything but true kingship. Majrooh Sultanpuri
Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry. He wrote Hindustani lyrics for numerous Hindi film soundtracks. He was one of the dominating musical forces in Indian cinema in the 1950s and early 1960s, and was an important figure in the Progressive Writers' Movement. He is considered one of the finest avant-garde Urdu poets of 20th century literature. In his career spanning six decades, he worked with many music directors. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs. Bindu Nanubhai Desai (born 17 April 1941), better known mononymously as Bindu, is a former Indian actress who was popular in the 1970s. She has acted in over 160 movies in a career that spanned four decades, receiving seven Filmfare award nominations.
