Gali Baharav-Miara
Gali Baharav-Miara (; born 18 September 1959) is an Israeli lawyer who serves as the current Attorney General of Israel. Prior to that, she served as the Tel Aviv District Attorney for Civil Affairs, and as a consultant to the law firm Tadmor, Levy, & Co. She is the first female Attorney General of Israel. Biography She was born to Shulamit Baharav (née Davidovich), a painter, and to Emanuel Baharav, who served in the Palmach and fought in the War of Independence. She holds both a bachelor's degree (1984, with honors) and a master's degree (1990) in law from Tel Aviv University, where she served as a teaching assistant and adjunct professor. In 1985, she joined the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office, where she served for about thirty years in a variety of positions, mainly in the fields of civil and administrative law. The attorney general of Israel (, ''Ha-Yo'etz Ha-Mishpati La-Memshala'', ) heads the legal system of the executive branch and the public prosecution of the state. The attorney general advises the government in legal matters, represents the state authorities in court, advises in the preparation of legal memoranda for the government in general and the justice minister in particular. A motion or vote of no confidence (or the inverse, a motion or vote of confidence) is a motion and corresponding vote thereon in a deliberative assembly (usually a legislative body) as to whether an officer (typically an executive) is deemed fit to continue to occupy their office. Yariv Gideon Levin (; born 22 June 1969) is an Israeli lawyer and politician who serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice. He served as Speaker of the Knesset in December 2022, previously serving that role from 2020 to 2021. Gideon Moshe Sa'ar (; born 9 December 1966) is an Israeli politician currently serving as Israel's Foreign Minister and member of the Knesset for the party New Hope. Sa'ar was first elected to the Knesset as a member of Likud in 2003, serving until 2014. During that period, he served as Education Minister (2009–2013) and Minister of the Interior (2013–2014) under Benjamin Netanyahu's governments.
