Fyfe Ewing
Fyfe Alexander Ewing (born 1 November 1970), is best known as the original drummer and founding member of rock band Therapy?. Therapy? In 1989, while playing drums in a punk covers band at a charity gig in Jordanstown, Ewing met Andy Cairns and subsequently formed Therapy? with Cairns on guitar and Michael McKeegan on bass. Ewing and Cairns would share lead vocal duties. In his near seven-year spell with the million selling outfit, Ewing recorded three full-length albums, two mini-albums and numerous EP's (as well as featuring heavily on two compilation albums and a box set following his departure) before leaving the band in January 1996. Larne
Larne (, , the name of a Gaelic territory) is a town on the east coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, with a population of 18,755 at the 2011 Census. The Wildhearts
The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as the Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. ''Troublegum'' is the second major label album by rock band Therapy? It was released on 7 February 1994 via A&M Records. The album features a more punk-oriented style compared to the likes of Stiff Little Fingers and the Undertones rather the band's previous noise rock-influenced works. Background The album was recorded in 1993 at Chipping Norton Recording Studios in Oxfordshire, as well as RAK Studios and Church Studios, both in London. It has a melodically dark, metal-like sound. The album contains a cover of " Isolation" by Joy Division, which also became a single. The Therapy? version also incorporates many musical elements from " Atrocity Exhibition". Troublegum is generally considered to be Therapy? at their musical and commercial peak and has since sold over one million copies worldwide. It was mainly recorded at Loco Studio in Caerleon, Wales, apart from "Gone" which was recorded in Annamoe, Ireland. ''Pleasure Death'' is the second mini-album by the Northern Irish rock band Therapy? It was released on 27 January 1992 by Wiiija Records on 12" vinyl. The album was recorded on 14 and 15 August 1991 and mixed on 16 and 17 August 1991 at Southern Studios in London. It reached number 1 on the UK Indie Charts. The mini-album was collected, together with '' Babyteeth'', as the compilation ''Caucasian Psychosis'' in 1992. In 1993, Southern Records re-issued the album on 12" vinyl, CD and cassette. ''Babyteeth'' is the first mini-album by the Northern Irish rock band Therapy?, released on 15 July 1991 on Wiiija Records. Tracks 1 and 3 were recorded in January 1990, with the remaining tracks recorded later that year, all at Homestead Studio in Randalstown, Northern Ireland. The album reached number 1 in both the UK and Irish Indie Charts. Release The EP was first released by Wiiija on 12" vinyl. In 1993, Southern Records re-issued the album on 12" vinyl, limited edition red 12" vinyl, CD and Cassette. "Meat Abstract" was released on the band's own ''Multifuckingnational'' label as a 7" vinyl in July 1990. Promo videos were made for the tracks "Meat Abstract" and "Innocent X".
