Furkan Özçal
Furkan Özçal (born 3 September 1990) is a Turkish former Association football, footballer who played as an Midfielder (association football)#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder. Club career He began his career with TSV 1860 München, 1860 Munich, who play in the second tier of the German league, rising through the youth ranks. He was offered a professional contract and played one season with the club before signing a three-year contract with Kayserispor on 18 June 2008. Galatasaray Furkan was released by Kayserispor in the summer of 2012 and on 6 September 2012 he was then signed by Turkish giants Galatasaray S.K. (football), Galatasaray on a free transfer. On 18 July 2013, he left on loan to Karabükspor until the rest of the season. Furkan returned to Galatasaray after his impressive loan spell for the new season. The 2012–13 Süper Lig (known as the ''Spor Toto Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 55th season of the Süper Lig, the highest football league of Turkey. Galatasaray are the defending champions. The season began on 17 August 2012 and ended on 19 May 2013. On 5 May, Galatasaray won a record 19th Turkish title after beating Sivasspor 4–2. Teams Samsunspor, Manisaspor and Ankaragücü were relegated at the end of the 2011–12 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings. Ankaragücü concluded 31 years at top level, Manisaspor returned to second level after 2 years and Samsunspor immediately returned to second one.
