Frithiof Mårtensson
Folke Frithiof Martens Mårtensson (19 May 1884 – 20 June 1956) was a Greco-Roman wrestler from Sweden. He won the middleweight contests at the 1908 Summer Olympics The 1908 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the IV Olympiad and also known as London 1908) were an International sport, international multi-sport event held in London, England, United Kingdom, from 27 April to 31 October 1908. Th ... in London and at the unofficial 1909 European Championships in Malmö. After 1909 Mårtensson moved to Copenhagen for training as a dental technician and in 1913 to the United States. Two years later he returned to Stockholm, where he died in 1956. Eslöv
Eslöv (; older da, Eslev) is a town and the seat of Eslöv Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 19,598 inhabitants as of 2018. Eslöv is part of the Öresund Region. History According to a map from 1717, Eslöv village was originally located in the current crossing Västergatan-Remmarlövsvägen. When the Southern Main Line, already passing through cities such as Stockholm and Malmö, was built through Eslöv the town's growth took off. On 4 October 1858 the first trains rolled on the southern main line through Eslöv. On 1 July 1865 the railway from Eslöv to Landskrona and Helsingborg (see Rååbanan) was taken into use and on 1 May 1866 the railway opened to Ystad. Eslöv had become a significant railroad link, and trade to and from the resort increased significantly. In 1897, Eslöv-Hörby railway opened, which was later extended to Kristianstad.
