Friends Club
Friends Club is a Nepali professional football club from the Kopundole neighborhood of Lalitpur. The club is known for nurturing young talent of Nepalese Football. Friends Club has produced more than 200 national football players to date. It also organized certain social activities like reading room facilities, blood donations, bicycle rallies against drug abuse etc. Since the late 1980s, it has implemented different training activities for women and children. The team practices on the grounds of Pulchok Campus. National players like Raju Tamang, Bharat Khawas, Sagar Thapa, Nirajan Khadka or Deepak Bhusal are all products of Friends Club Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. Pulchowk Campus
Pulchowk Campus (Nepali: पुल्चोक क्याम्पस), commonly known as Pulchowk Engineering Campus (), is one of the five constituent campuses of the Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering in Nepal, and is one of the best engineering colleges in Asia. Other four constituent campuses are Thapathali Campus, Paschimanchal Campus, Purwanchal Campus, and Chitwan Engineering Campus. This is the central campus of Institute of Engineering (IOE), situated in Lalitpur metropolitan city. The campus offers bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctoral degree programs. Every year, IOE conducts an entrance examination for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor in Architecture (B.Arch.) degrees. 2019 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League
The 2019 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League was the 2019 season of the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. A total of 12 teams competed in the league. The season started on 8 February and concluded on 5 March. The league did not have promotion to the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League and teams were not relegated to the Martyr's Memorial C-Division League, the bottom teams of each group however will have a one point deduction in the next edition of the league. 2015 Nepal National League
The 2015 Nepal National League also known as the RedBull National League for sponsorship reasons is the 2nd edition of Nepal National League. The winners Three Star Club received 1 Crore or 10,000,000 rupees ($149,278 USD). Red Bull energy drink is the main sponsor. San Miguel Beer is also a co-sponsor of the competition. The League featured 9 teams from Kathmandu and the rest of Nepal. The League was heavily affected by the April 2015 Nepal earthquake, with play being suspended from late April and due to resume in September. Teams A total of 9 teams featured in the league. Nepal National League
The National League (also known as Red Bull National League) is a club-level association football competition in Nepal. The champions secured qualification to a continental cup, previously the AFC President's Cup (now AFC Cup). It took place for two seasons in 2011–12 and 2015. In other years the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League was and still is the highest level league in Nepal, together with franchise based Nepal Super League. All Nepal Football Association
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) (Nepali: अखिल नेपाल फुटबल संघ (एन्फा)) is the governing body of football in Nepal. It is responsible for the national team as well as club competitions. The organisation was founded in 1951 as the All Nepal Football Association and became affiliated with FIFA in 1972. The current President of ANFA is Pankaj Bikram Nembang. Martyr's Memorial A-Division League (Nepali: शहीद स्मारक ए- डिभिजन लिग; formerly known as the Kathmandu League Championship) is the top divisions of football in Nepal. Contested by 12 to 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. The season usually runs from November to March with every team playing each other once and the top six teams reach the Super Six round, where the teams again play each other once.
