Ram-Zet
Ram-Zet is a progressive metal band (music), band formed in Hamar, Norway in 1998. Genre classification Ram-Zet's music is very diverse ranging from black metal to thrash metal. It has Industrial music, industrial sounds, Progressive metal, progressive structures, and Folk instrument, traditional instruments forming a style which some people, including band mastermind Zet, have called "schizo-metal". Their music contains many rare time signatures, unconventional Harmony, harmonies, and unusual violin parts. They can be regarded as an avant-garde metal band, because of the wide range of Music genre, genres influencing them. Ram-Zet's lyrics are strongly linked to a schizophrenia theme. The lyrics of ''Pure Therapy'', ''Escape (Ram-Zet album), Escape'', and ''Intra (album), Intra'' all revolve around this mental disorder. Forming a story which runs through all three albums, they feature two main characters: a schizophrenic patient in a dubious Psychiatric hospital, mental institu ...

Digital Image Processing
Digital image processing is the use of a digital computer to process digital images through an algorithm. As a subcategory or field of digital signal processing, digital image processing has many advantages over analog image processing. It allows a much wider range of algorithms to be applied to the input data and can avoid problems such as the build-up of Noise (signal processing), noise and distortion during processing. Since images are defined over two dimensions (perhaps more), digital image processing may be modeled in the form of Multidimensional system, multidimensional systems. The generation and development of digital image processing are mainly affected by three factors: first, the development of computers; second, the development of mathematics (especially the creation and improvement of discrete mathematics, discrete mathematics theory); and third, the demand for a wide range of applications in environment, agriculture, military, industry and medical science has incre ...

Audio Mastering
Mastering is a form of audio post production which is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device called a master recording, the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). In recent years, digital masters have become usual, although analog masters—such as audio tapes—are still being used by the manufacturing industry, particularly by a few engineers who specialize in analog mastering. Mastering requires critical listening; however, software tools exist to facilitate the process. Results depend upon the intent of the engineer, their skills, the accuracy of the speaker monitors, and the listening environment. Mastering engineers often apply equalization and dynamic range compression in order to optimize sound translation on all playback systems. It is standard practice to make a copy of a master recording—known as a safety copy— ...

Audio Mixing (recorded Music)
In sound recording and reproduction, audio mixing is the process of optimizing and combining multitrack recordings into a final mono, stereo or surround sound product. In the process of combining the separate tracks, their relative levels are adjusted and balanced and various processes such as equalization and compression are commonly applied to individual tracks, groups of tracks, and the overall mix. In stereo and surround sound mixing, the placement of the tracks within the stereo (or surround) field are adjusted and balanced. Audio mixing techniques and approaches vary widely and have a significant influence on the final product. Audio mixing techniques largely depend on music genres and the quality of sound recordings involved. The process is generally carried out by a mixing engineer, though sometimes the record producer or recording artist may assist. After mixing, a mastering engineer prepares the final product for production. Audio mixing may be performed on a ...

Horn (instrument)
A horn is any of a family of musical instruments made of a tube, usually made of metal and often curved in various ways, with one narrow end into which the musician blows, and a wide end from which sound emerges. In horns, unlike some other brass instruments such as the trumpet, the bore gradually increases in width through most of its length—that is to say, it is conical rather than cylindrical. In jazz and popular-music contexts, the word may be used loosely to refer to any wind instrument, and a section of brass or woodwind instruments, or a mixture of the two, is called a horn section in these contexts. Types Variations include: * Lur (prehistoric) * Shofar * Alboka *Roman horns: ** Cornu ** Buccina * Dung chen * Dord * Sringa * Nyele * Wazza * Waqra phuku * Alphorn *Cornett * Serpent * Ophicleide * Natural horn ** Bugle ** Post horn *French horn * German horn * Vienna horn * Wagner tuba * Saxhorns, including: ** Alto horn (UK: tenor horn), pitched in E ** Baritone ho ...
