Franz Stauder
Franz Stauder (born 28 May 1977) is a former professional tennis player from Germany and current head coach at TC Rot-Weiß Worms. Biography His first appearance in the main draw of an ATP Tour level tournament came at the 1996 Gerry Weber Open in Halle where he partnered Pat Cash in the doubles. He also featured twice in the singles event at Halle, as a wildcard in 1997 and a qualifier in 1998, for a first round exit in each. On the second occasion, the 1998 Gerry Weber Open, he took world number 27 Jan Siemerink to a final set tiebreak. From 1998 to 2001 he competed in the men's doubles at Halle every year. He was a quarter-finalist three times, twice with Karsten Braasch and once with Rainer Schüttler. Stauder, who won six Challenger titles, narrowly missed out on qualifying for the singles draw at the 1999 Wimbledon Championships. Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. Dick Norman
Dick Norman (born 1 March 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Belgium. He achieved a degree of folk popularity among tennis fans due to his height (6 feet 8 inches), his left-handed power game and, in the last few years of his career, his age (between late 2006 and his retirement in June 2013 he was the oldest player on the ATP Tour). After retirement Norman became involved in coaching and organizing local tennis events. In March 2018, he became the tournament director of ATP Antwerp, also known as the European Open. Orest Tereshchuk
Orest Tereshchuk (born 18 August 1981) is a former professional tennis player from Ukraine. Career Tereshchuk began playing Davis Cup tennis for the Ukrainian national team in 1999. His last appearance in 2007 was his 18th tie for Ukraine, leveling Andrei Medvedev's record. He finished with a 22/10 career record, second only to Medvedev. On the ATP Tour he made doubles appearances in the 2006 Kremlin Cup (partnering Alexey Kedryuk) and the 2007 St. Petersburg Open (partnering Sergiy Stakhovsky) but was unable to progress past the opening round in either. He was however highly successful on the ATP Challenger circuit, winning 11 doubles titles. Damien Roberts (born 26 January 1978) is a South African former professional tennis player. Biography Roberts went to Kearsney College until 1994, when he moved to the United States to train at the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in Texas. He attended New Braunfels High School. As a junior, he was ranked as high as 11 in the world in doubles and was a finalist in the 1996 Wimbledon Championships with countryman Wesley Whitehouse. Fredrik Lovén
Fredrik Lovén (born 26 May 1976) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. Biography Lovén made his only ATP Tour main draw appearance at the 2000 Stockholm Open, partnering Robert Lindstedt in the doubles. The pair, who had made it through qualifying, reached the quarter-finals with a win over Czech fourth seeds David Rikl and Cyril Suk. Most of his singles matches were played on the Futures circuit. Alexander Waske
Alexander Waske (born 31 March 1975) is a retired tennis player from Germany. Waske was ranked as high as world No. 16 in doubles, winning four titles. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of world No. 89 in June 2006. In 2010, Waske and his former Davis Cup companion Rainer Schüttler founded the Schüttler Waske Tennis-University, a tennis academy for professional players. Waske twice beat players in the final qualifying rounds of tournaments who later got into the main draw as lucky losers and caused big historical upsets. Filippo Veglio
Filippo Veglio (born 21 March 1974) is a former professional tennis player from Switzerland. Career Veglio played his first and only Grand Slam in 1996, at the US Open, as a qualifier in the Men's Singles. He upset world number 57 Christian Ruud in the opening round and took the first set off Àlex Corretja, but lost in four. He was however most successful as a doubles player.
