Franck Silvestre
Franck Claude Silvestre (born 5 April 1967) is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre back. During his career, spent in two countries and with six different clubs, he played in more than 700 official games. A French international during three years, Silvestre represented the nation at Euro 1992. Career Born in Paris, Silvestre began his professional career at FC Sochaux-Montbéliard in 1985. An undisputed first-choice when he was just 18, he saw the club be relegated into the French second division in 1987, but it immediately gained promotion to the top level, also reaching the French Cup final the next year, lost against FC Metz. FC Metz
Football Club de Metz () is a Football in France, French association football club based in Metz, Lorraine. Frank Verlaat (born 5 March 1968) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a defender. He had a 21-year career throughout Europe, playing in the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Germany and finishing his career in Austria. He earned one cap with the Netherlands national team. William Prunier
William Prunier (born 14 August 1967) is a French football manager and former player who is the manager of AS Villers-Houlgate. As a player, Prunier was a centre-back and spent most of his career in France, primarily with Auxerre where he spent nine years, but also played for clubs in England, Denmark, Scotland, Italy, Belgium and Qatar, where he finished his career. He also represented France, gaining his only cap in 1992. Playing career Prunier was born in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis. Prunier was a product of a Auxerre youth team that also included Eric Cantona, Basile Boli, Pascal Vahirua and Daniel Dutuel, all under the tutelage of Guy Roux. Guy Roux
Guy Marcel Roux (; born 18 October 1938) is a French former football player and manager known for being in charge of Auxerre for more than 40 years and for leading the team to national and worldwide prominence. Managerial career A native of Colmar, Roux played for Auxerre between 1954 and 1957 and became player-manager of the then Division d'Honneur (fourth level) club in 1961 to become its living legend and symbol. In 1970, Auxerre got promoted to the Division 3 League, and Roux retired as a player. In 1974, Auxerre got promoted again, this time to Division 2. With Roux in charge, the team made it to a Coupe de France final in 1979 and progressed to Division 1 in 1980. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap.
