Francesca Corbett
Francesca Corbett (born June 3, 2005) is an American badminton player from Foster City, California. Career Corbett has been competing in badminton since she was six. She is ranked as USA U19 number 5 in girls' singles and number 1 in girls' doubles with her partner Allison Lee. She won the girls' singles and doubles gold medals at the U11 Pan Am Junior Championships in 2015, U13 Pan Am Junior Championships in 2017, and U15 Pan Am Junior Championships in 2019. In late 2019, she qualified to represent the USA in February 2020 for the Pan Am Male & Female Cup in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, by winning her first adult national title in the women's doubles. Team USA took second place with Corbett besting one of Brazil's women's singles players. Alison Lee (badminton)
Alison Lee (born February 26, 1995) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and is a college student at the University of California, Los Angeles. She was ranked number 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 16 weeks in 2013–14. Early life Lee was born in Los Angeles to Korean immigrant parents. She started golfing at a young age. Lee's father Johnny Lee was her first instructor. Amateur career Lee was an AJGA First-Team All-American for six years, from 2008 through 2013, with nine wins on the AJGA circuit. She was a member of the victorious USA Junior Solheim Cup team in 2009, 2011, and 2013 helping to lead the US to three straight victories and was a member of the Junior Ryder Cup team in 2010 and 2012 and the Curtis Cup team in 2014. Josephine Wu
Josephine Yuenling Wu (born 20 January 1995) is a Canadian badminton player. She clinched three Pan American Games gold medals by winning the mixed doubles title in 2019 and 2023, and also the women's doubles title in 2023. At the Pan Am Championships, she won seven golds, and five silver medals since her debut at the tournament in 2016. Early and personal life Wu is currently a business student at the University of Alberta and has been competing in badminton since she was seven years old. The Guatemala International is an open badminton tournament held in Guatemala.
