Fozizhuang Township
Fozizhuang Township () is a township situated in northern part of Fangshan District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Datai Subdistrict and Yongding Town in the north; Tanzhesi, Hebei Towns and Xiangyang Subdistrict in the east; Zhoukoudian Town, Nanjiao and Xiayunling Townships in the south; Shijiaying and Da'anshan Townships in the west. As of 2020, its census population was 6,183. This area first became a village during the Yuan dynasty. The name Fozizhuang () was given for the buddha statue on village gate when it was founded. Townships Of China
Townships (), formally township-level divisions (), are the basic level (fourth-level administrative units) of political divisions in China. They are similar to municipalities and communes in other countries and in turn may contain village committees and villages. In 1995 there were 29,502 townships and 17,532 towns (a total of 47,034 township-level divisions) in China. Yongding Town () is a town that the southeastern corner of Mentougou District, Beijing, China. It borders Longquan Town, Dayu and Guangning Subdistricts in the north, Gucheng Subdistrict in the east, Wangzuo Town and Beigong Town in the south, Tantuosi Town in the west, and has an exclave north of Tantuosi. The Yuan dynasty (), officially the Great Yuan (; xng, , , literally "Great Yuan State"), was a Mongols, Mongol-led Dynasties in Chinese history, imperial dynasty of China and a successor state to the Mongol Empire after Division of the Mongol Empire, its division. Nanjiao Township () is a township situated in the northern part of Fangshan District, Beijing, China. It borders Fozizhuang Town in the north, Zhoukoudian Town in the southeast, and Xiayunling Township in the southwest. The township was home to 3,190 residents in 2020.
