Fox Crime (Asia)
Fox Crime was a Southeast Asian pay television channel, owned by Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Disney International Operations. The channel focuses on crime and investigation series programs. In India, Fox Crime Asia was replaced with its Indian counterpart in September 2012. Fox Crime India was shut down in July 2015 due to low ratings. FOX Crime, along with Channel channels ceased transmission on Unifi TV on 1 June 2018. Fox Crime (along with Fox, Fox Life, Channel FX, Fox Movies, Fox Family Movies, Fox Action Movies, SCM Legend, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Nat Geo People, Star Movies China, and five of its sports channels) ceased broadcasting across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong on October 1, 2021. Most of these channels' shows were shifted to Disney+ (in Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Disney+ Hotstar (in Southeast Asia outside Singapore and Philippines). ''Variety'' is an American trade magazine owned by Penske Media Corporation. It was founded by Sime Silverman in New York City in 1905 as a weekly newspaper reporting on theater and vaudeville. In 1933, ''Daily Variety'' was launched, based in Los Angeles, to cover the film industry, motion-picture industry. ''Variety'' website features entertainment news, reviews, box office results, plus a credits database, production charts and film calendar. The channel was initially available in Singapore since 16 September 2010. and continued rolling to Southeast Asia. Mayday (Canadian TV Series)
''Mayday'' is a Canadian documentary television program examining air crashes, near-crashes, hijackings, bombings, and other disasters. ''Mayday'' uses re-enactments and computer-generated imagery to reconstruct the sequence of events leading up to each disaster. In addition, survivors, aviation experts, retired pilots, and crash investigators are interviewed, to explain how the emergencies came about, how they were investigated, and how they might have been prevented. Cineflix started production on , with a budget. In Canada itself, the program premiered on Discovery Channel Canada on 3 September 2003. ''Tommy'' is an American police procedural crime drama television series created by Paul Attanasio that aired on CBS from February 6 to May 7, 2020. The series stars Edie Falco as the first female police chief of the Los Angeles Police Department. In May 2020, the series was canceled after one season. Produced in conjunction with the National Geographic Channel, the series examined various disasters or violent incidents.
