Flowrence Jematiah Sergon
Flowrence Jematiah Sergon is a Kenyan politician who has been a member of the National Assembly since 2022. In 2017 she was elected a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (ELEA). Life Flowrence Jematiah was educated at Marigat Secondary School in Baringo County, where she was head girl. She then trained at the Kenya Medical Training College. Moving into politics, she worked for the defunct United Republican Party and then became coordinator of the Jubilee Party's campaigns in Baringo, Nakuru and Elgeyo-Marakwet. Nominated by the Jubilee Party for the East African Legislative Assembly, she was elected to be a member of the ELEA with 252 votes. She is the youngest of Kenya's nine representatives to the ELEA. Jubilee Party
The Jubilee Party of Kenya was the ruling political party of the Republic of Kenya from 2016 until 13 September 2022. The party was founded on 8 September 2016, following the merger of 11 smaller parties. The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the current ruling political party in Kenya. Their slogan is "Kazi ni Kazi" (Work is work) and their symbol is a wheelbarrow .The party, initially called the Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020. The party became notable in January 2021, and is linked to politicians allied to Dr. William Ruto, the President of Kenya. National Assembly (Kenya)
The National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya is one of the two Houses of the Parliament of Kenya. Between 1966 and 2013, it served as a unicameral house. In 2013 ( 11th Parliament), it became the lower house when the Senate was reestablished. It has a total of 349 seats: 290 elected from the constituencies, 47 women elected from the counties and 12 nominated representatives.
