Florian Herrmann
Florian Herrmann (born 7 December 1971 in Kelheim) is a German lawyer and politician (CSU). He has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2008, Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery and Bavarian Minister of State for Federal and European Affairs and the Media since 2018, and for Federal Affairs and the Media since 2021. Life Studies and career After graduating from the Dom-Gymnasium Freising in 1991, Herrmann studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, the Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Bonn. In 1996 he passed the first state examination in law in Munich with honors and completed the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia (US) in 1996/97. Munich School of Philosophy (German: ''Hochschule für Philosophie München'') is a small Jesuit higher education college in Munich, Germany founded in 1925. History Founded as a seminary at Pullach in 1925 by Augustin Bea, first named the Berchmanskolleg, it obtained the ability to issue a doctorate in 1932. Melanie Huml (née Beck; born 9 September 1975) is a German physician and politician of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria (CSU) who has been serving as State Minister for European and International Affairs in the cabinet of Minister-President Markus Söder since 2021. She has been a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since October 2003. Prior to her current role in Bavaria's state government, Huml served as State Minister for Health and Nursing in the cabinets of successive Minister-Presidents Horst Seehofer (2013-2018) and Söder (2018–2021). The Second Söder cabinet was the state government of Bavaria from November 2018 to late 2023. The Cusanuswerk is one of the thirteen German sponsorship organizations financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Germany) to promote gifted students. It is headquartered in Bonn. History The Cusanuswerk was founded in 1956 under the authority of the German Bishops' Conference. It is named after the medieval scholar Nicholas of Cusa. Franz Eduard Ritter von Liszt (2 March 1851 – 21 June 1919) was a German jurist, criminologist and international law reformer. As a legal scholar, he was a proponent of the modern sociological and historical school of law. From 1898 until 1917, he was Professor of Criminal Law and International Law at the University of Berlin and was also a member of the Progressive People's Party in the Prussian Chamber of Deputies and the Reichstag.
