''Fletcher and Jenks'' is a 2016 American dark comedy short film directed by Tony Olmos, written by Jordan Jacobo, and starring George Jac and Kayla Schaffroth. The film was made as part of the 48 Hour Film Project in 2016 and Schaffroth won Best Actress at the GI Film Festival San Diego in 2017. Tony Olmos
Tony Olmos is a Mexican-American filmmaker and musician who directed the films ''Hemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea'' (2023), ''South of 8'' (2016), ''Fletcher and Jenks'' (2016) and Pulp Friction (film), ''Pulp Friction'' (2021). He was awarded Best Dramatic Screenplay at the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival in 2016 and received several nominations at the GI Film Festival San Diego in 2017. Personal life Olmos resides in La Jolla, California. He was previously a musician before becoming a filmmaker. Career Olmos filmed his movies in San Diego County, which is where most of them are set in. His work in character development is influenced by Martin Scorsese. Olmos helped compose the score on his debut film ''South of 8'' and his writing earned him a screenplay award in 2016 at the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival. KNSD (channel 39) is a television station in San Diego, California, United States, airing programming from the NBC network. Jordan Jacobo is an American actor, screenwriter and film director who wrote the film ''Fletcher and Jenks'' (2016), wrote the series ''Jordan Loves'' (2017) and ''Sides'' (2021), and appeared in the films '' Expect a Miracle: Finding Light in the Darkness of a Pandemic'' (2020) and '' Long Live Xander the Great'' (2023). Jodi Cilley is an American college professor and film producer known for founding Film Consortium San Diego and San Diego Film Awards. Life and career Cilley was born and raised in Barre, Vermont. In 1999, she graduated from Boston College with a BA in Sociology. By 2010, Cilley finished her MBA in Business Administration-Entrepreneurship at San Diego State University and in 2011, was an instructor for Media Arts Center San Diego. GI Film Festival San Diego
The GI Film Festival (GIFF), a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by Army veteran Laura Law-Millett and her husband Brandon Millett, is "dedicated to preserving the stories of American veterans past and present through film, television and live special events."
