''Filthy Rich and Homeless'' is an Asian Academy Creative Awards-nominated Australian TV documentary series produced by Blackfella Films and broadcast in 2017 (Season 1) and 2018 (Season 2) on Special Broadcasting Service, SBS. Colin Friels (born 25 September 1952) is an Australian actor of theatre, TV, film and presenter. Pauline Nguyen is an Australian author and restaurateur. Nguyen was born in Vietnam. Upon the communist takeover of Saigon in 1975, her father decided to evacuate his family from Vietnam.
