Porcius Festus was the 5th procurator of Judea from about 59 to 62, succeeding Antonius Felix. Term in office The exact time of Festus in office is not known. The earliest proposed date for the start of his term is c. 55–56, while the latest is 61. These extremes have not gained much support and most scholars opt for a date between 58 and 60. F. F. Bruce says that, "The date of his elix'srecall and replacement by Porcius Festus is disputed, but a change in the provincial coinage of Judaea attested for Nero's fifth year points to A.D. 59". Kiunjuri Festus Mwangi (born April 18, 1969) is a politician born in Kieni, Nyeri County. He has held various political and government positions. Education and Political life Education Mwangi Kiunjuri graduated from Moi University with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree in 1994. Political life Kiunjuri was first elected to the parliament in 1997 as a member of the Democratic Party. He retained his seat in the 2002 elections. As a member of the Party of National Unity, he was elected to represent Laikipia East Constituency in the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. He left office in 2013. Festus Simbiak (born 1 February 1952) was an Indonesian academic who served as the acting rector of Cenderawasih University from 2011 until 2013 and as the coordinator for private universities in Papua and West Papua from 2013 until 2017. Early life and education Simbiak was born on 1 February 1952 in Biak, an island in the Dutch New Guinea territory. Simbiak attended the 413th state high school in Sorong from 1969 to 1971. Upon finishing his high school education in Sorong, Simbiak moved to North Sumatra, where he studied at the HKBP Nommensen University from 1972. He first received an associate degree in teaching. He taught at several schools in North Sumatra and Papua, such as the Sentosa School in Tebing Tinggi, Kalam Kudus School in Pematangsiantar, and the Christian Foundation's Teacher Education School in Biak. Festus Oluwole Segun (born 20 March 1915) was a Nigerian Anglican bishop. Segun was born in Ijebu Ode. He was educated at Our Saviour's Primary School in Ijebu Ode; St. Andrew's College in Oyo and Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone. Segun was ordained an Anglican deacon in 1951 and a priest in 1952. He held posts in Ebute Metta, Aroloya and Yaba. From 1956 to 1960 he studied at Union Theological Seminary in New York City before becoming a lecturer at St Augustine's College, Canterbury. Festus 'Adegboye' Onigbinde (born March 5, 1938, in Modakeke) is a Nigerian former football manager. Career He coached Nigeria national team at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, an achievement he had already gotten, between 1982 and 1984. In 1984, Onigbinde took Nigeria into the final match of the 1984 Africa Nations Cup. Nigeria lost 1–3 to Cameroun in that match.
