Faraz Anwar
Faraz Anwar (Urdu: فراز انور; b.15 July 1976) is a Pakistani musician, composer, singer-songwriter, bandleader, and a guitarist who founded the Mizraab, a heavy metal music and hard rock genre band based in Pakistan. His musical act on electric guitar has been described by one critic as "Pakistan's master of progressive rock". Anwar is currently signed to Lion Music, which is a Finnish production and record label company. Biography Faraz Anwar started learning to play the guitar at the age of 14. He was inspired by the British jazz musician Allan Holdsworth and the American guitarist Paul Gilbert. Presently, Faraz Anwar's latest album, ''Ishq Ki Subah'', a fusion of pop, rock, and progressive songs and instrumentals, has been released. Muhajir People
The Muhajir people (also spelled Mohajir and Mahajir) () are a multi-origin ethnic group of Pakistan. They are the Muslim immigrants of various ethnic groups and regional origins, who migrated from various regions of India after the 1947 independence to settle in the newly independent state of Pakistan, and their descendants. A significant population of the community settled in Karachi and other major urban centres of Pakistan. Noori () is a Pakistani rock band from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, formed in 1996. The group was formed by songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist, Ali Noor, along with his younger brother Ali Hamza, who were soon joined by bassist Muhammad Ali Jafri and drummer Salman Albert. The tenth season of the Music of Pakistan, Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio Pakistan'' premiered on 11 August 2017, and ended on 21 September 2017.
