Coke Studio Pakistan Season 10
The tenth season of the Music of Pakistan, Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio Pakistan'' premiered on 11 August 2017, and ended on 21 September 2017. Strings (band), Strings and The Coca-Cola Company emceed the show as executive producers, while the show returned with the previous year's format of music directors leading and producing their own songs under Strings' supervision, despite the decision of not adopting this format for next year. The season featured 7 episodes, each having 4 tracks, plus one promo and one full song (hence two season openers); making it a total of 32 songs. It turned out to be the Strings' last ''Coke Studio'' production. Artists
An artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating the work of art. Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi
Attaullah Khan Niazi ( born 19 August 1951), known professionally as Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi, is a Pakistani musician, singer, and poet from Isakhel in Mianwali District, Punjab. He is mainly associated with the folk music of Punjab and has written various songs and poems in the Saraiki language. In 2011, he appeared at Coke Studio (season 4) and sang three songs: Ni Oothaan Waale, and Pyaar Naal. In September 2017, he appeared again in Coke Studio (season 10) and sang ''Sab Maya Hai'' with his traditional band. Quratulain Balouch () is a Pakistani American singer-songwriter. Also known as QB or the Humsafar Girl, she became popular for her title track " Woh Humsafar Tha" in Hum TV's serial ''Humsafar''. Nirmal Roy
Nirmal Roy () (born August 6, 1996) is a Pakistani singer. Born in Lahore, she started her career at the age of twelve. Roy has performed and won many music competitions on national level, including the '' Voice of Kinnaird College'' in 2014. In 2016, she made her ''Coke Studio Pakistan'' debut as a featured artist in the ninth season, with the song "Ala Bali", along with Jabar Abbas, as a part of team Sheraz Uppal. Upon release, the song as well as Roy's singing style was praised. In 2015 she was again selected to take part in Coke Studio along with Ali Hamza for the track "Jindaani" . Junoon (band)
Junoon ( ) is a Pakistani sufi rock band from Lahore, Punjab (Pakistani province), Punjab, Pakistan, and Tappan, New York, formed in 1990. Jabar Abbas
Jabar Abbas is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and musician who started his career in 1997 as child artist. He gained notability during his presidential tenure of Nazir Ahmed Musical Society at Government College University, Lahore from 20032007. Irteassh
Irteassh is an all-girl A cappella band based in Karachi, Pakistan, which appeared in Coke Studio (Pakistani TV program) in Season 10. The band comprises 4 female vocalists Eman Pirzada, Ayesha Akbar Waheed, Sajar Nafees and Simal Nafees. Introduced by Salman Ahmad, Irteassh performed Ghoom Taana with Momina Mustehsan in Coke Studio (Pakistani season 10).
