Factor X (Spanish TV Series)
''Factor X'' is the Spain, Spanish version of the Television in the United Kingdom, British television music competition ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show, first aired on Cuatro (TV channel), Cuatro between 2007 and 2008, following the British format from 2005 to 2006, with three categories, mentored by one judge each, whom choose the acts to represent the category in the live shows. The judges were singer and DJ :es:Miqui Puig, Miqui Puig, music manager and recruiter, headhunter Eva Perales and music radio producer :es:Jorge Flo, Jorge Flo. Nuria Roca hosted the show. The first season was won by María Villalón. The second season was won by Vocal Tempo. On 27 September 2017, Telecinco announced the revival of the series with the production of a new season. Telecinco is a Spanish free-to-air television channel operated by Mediaset España. Leire Martínez Ochoa (born 22 June 1979 in Errenteria, Gipuzkoa), is a Spanish singer, songwriter and the lead vocalist of the band La Oreja de Van Gogh from 2008 to 2024. She participated in the television show Factor X in 2007 performing covers of Julieta Venegas, Vanessa Paradis and Lisa Stansfield. She was eliminated on the 6th week. In 2008, after her performances in Factor X, Leire was selected to replace Amaia Montero in La Oreja de Van Gogh. Pilar María Del Carmen Mónica Giménez García (born 29 May 1982), known professionally as Ailyn Giménez or simply Ailyn, is a Spanish singer. She is the current vocalist of Her Chariot Awaits and the former vocalist of the Norwegian gothic metal band Sirenia. Divinity is a Commercial broadcasting, private Spanish television channel owned by Mediaset España, whose programming is aimed to target women. Divinity began test broadcasts on 1 March 2011 before fully launching on 1 April 2011. María Villalón Sánchez (born 1 April 1989 in Ronda, Málaga, Spain), is a Spanish singer and most notably the winner of the first series of the Spanish version of ''The X Factor'' in 2007.
