''Face the Sun'' is the fourth studio album by South Korean boy band Seventeen (South Korean band), Seventeen. It was released on May 27, 2022, by Pledis Entertainment through YG Plus. The album contains nine tracks, with "Hot (Seventeen song), Hot" serving as lead single. The first track, "Darl+ing", was pre-released on April 15, 2022. The repackaged version of the album, titled ''Sector 17'', released on July 18 alongside its lead single "World". The fourth track, "Cheers", was pre-released on July 7, 2022. Background In March, seven months after the release of the commercially successful EP ''Attacca (EP), Attacca'', Pledis Entertainment announced that Seventeen (South Korean band), Seventeen would be releasing a studio album, their first since ''An Ode'' (2019), in May. Bumzu
Kye Beom-ju (, born November 8, 1991), better known by the stage name Bumzu (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and record producer. Bumzu is best known for writing and producing much of the discographies of boy bands NU'EST and Seventeen. Lee Ji-hoon (; born November 22, 1996), known by his stage name Woozi (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter and record producer. 2022 MAMA Awards
The 2022 MAMA Awards ceremony organized by CJ E&M and broadcast through its music channel Mnet, was broadcast live on November 29 and 30, 2022. The ceremony was held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan. The theme for the ceremony is titled "K-POP World Citizenship" with sub-themes per night, "The world we build together" for day 1, and "We are K-POP" for day 2. The ceremony is the first to carry the new rebranded name, the first to take place overseas during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 24th in the show's history.
