2022 MAMA Awards
The 2022 MAMA Awards ceremony, organized by CJ E&M and broadcast through its music channel Mnet, was broadcast live on November 29 and 30, 2022. The ceremony was held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan. The theme for the ceremony is titled "K-POP World Citizenship" with sub-themes per night, "The world we build together" for day 1, and "We are K-POP" for day 2. The ceremony is the first to carry the new rebranded name, the first to take place overseas during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 24th in the show's history. This year's ceremony saw the addition of the MAMA Platinum award which will be given to artists who've won all 4 daesangs (Grand Prizes) for 3 consecutive years. Kyocera Dome Osaka
The (official name: ) is a baseball stadium located in Osaka, Osaka, Japan. Opened in 1997, the stadium was the home field of the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. In 2005, the stadium became one of the homes of the Orix Buffaloes, a result of the merger between the Orix BlueWave and Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. Prior to the Osaka Dome opening, the Buffaloes played their home games at Fujiidera Stadium. The Hanshin Tigers also use the stadium as their "home field" for their season openers and their home games in August because their stadium, Koshien Stadium, is used for high school baseball tournaments during those periods. "Sneakers" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Itzy. It was released on July 15, 2022, by JYP Entertainment and Republic Records, as the lead single for their fifth extended play ''Checkmate''. Both Korean and English versions of the song were included in the extended play.
