FK Jezero
FK Jezero is a Montenegrin professional football club based in the town of Plav. Established at 1934, the club plays in the First League of Montenegro. History After World War II, the first football club in the town of Plav is founded. Officially, foundation year of FK Jezero (''FC Lake'') was in 1934. Club is named after the Lake Plav, on whose shore is built the town of Plav. First significant success, FK Jezero made in the 1968–69 season. They won the title of the Montenegrin Fourth League - North champion and gained promotion to the Montenegrin Republic League. After one season, they were relegated. During the seventies, the team from Plav played another three seasons in the Republic League. Stadion Pod Racinom
Stadion Pod Racinom is a multi-use stadium in Plav, Montenegro. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Jezero. History The first football stadium in Plav was built in 1948, when FK Jezero was founded. Until the start of the nineties, the pitch had poor infrastructure. After that, the main stand was built with an overall capacity of 6,000 standing places. New renovation came after FK Jezero gained promotion to Montenegrin First League, when capacity was reduced to 2,500 seats. Pitch and conditions The pitch measures 105 x 70 meters. The stadium meet criteria for Prva CFL games. Trivia The highest attendance was recorded on local derby FK Jezero - FK Gusinje in 1999. That game was attended by 7,000 spectators, but many of them were on a nearby hill, not on the stands. 2021–22 Montenegrin First League
The 2021–22 Montenegrin First League was the 16th season of the first tier association football in the country of Montenegro. The season began on 24 July 2021 and ended on 24 May 2022. The winners of the league qualified for a place in the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League. Budućnost were the defending champions having won the league in the previous season. Teams OFK Titograd (relegated after eleven years in the top flight) were relegated after finishing tenth in the previous season. Mornar (promoted after a two-year absence) will replace them in the league after earning promotion from the Montenegrin Second League as league champions in the previous season. The 2020–21 Montenegrin First League was the 15th season of the top-tier association football in Montenegro. The season began on 14 August 2020 and ended on 25 May 2021. The league winners qualified for a place in the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League. Budućnost were the defending champions after winning the league in the previous season. Teams Defender of the title was Budućnost, while other teams which participated in previous season were Sutjeska, Iskra, Zeta, Podgorica, Petrovac, Rudar and Titograd. FK Mornar Bar is a Montenegro, Montenegrin professional association football, football club based in the coastal town of Bar, Montenegro, Bar, which competes in the Montenegrin First League. Montenegrin First League Playoffs
The Montenegrin First League playoffs is a two legs tournament between the teams from Montenegrin First League just above direct relegation, and the teams from Montenegrin Second League just below direct promotion. Format At the end of each season, 8th and 9th placed teams from the Montenegrin First League play against the 2nd and 3rd placed teams from the Montenegrin Second League. The winners play the next season in the First League, while losers are members of next edition of the Second League. In every playoffs, matches are played over two legs - the 8th placed team from First League against the 3rd placed team from Second League, and the 9th placed team from First League against the 2nd placed team from Second League. Berane City Stadium ( Montenegrin: Gradski stadion Berane/Градски стадион Беране) is a multi-purpose stadium in Berane, Montenegro. Also known as Stadion pod Bogavskim brdom, it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Berane and FK Radnički. Also it serves as home ground of Athletic Club Lim. The 2008–09 Montenegrin First League was the third season of the top-tier football in Montenegro. The season began on 9 August 2008 and ended on 30 May 2009. The defending champions are Budućnost Podgorica. Teams Mladost Podgorica were directly relegated to the Montenegrin Second League after finishing 12th in last year's standings. Their place was taken by Second League champions Jezero Plav. 10th placed Bokelj Kotor and 11th placed Sutjeska Nikšić had to compete in two-legged relegation play-offs.
