FK Be1
FK Be1 is a Lithuanian professional football club based in Jonava. Before 2019, it was named FK NFA, later – Be1 NFA and FK Be1. History The National Football Academy of Lithuania (NFA, in Lithuanian ''Nacionalinė Futbolo Akademija'') was established in 2006. In 2012, the academy founded a professional team under the name FK NFA. In the 2012 season, it played in the I Lyga, the second tier of the Lithuanian football system, and finished in 6th place. After the season, the NFA decided to voluntarily drop the club to the 3rd tier. In 2013, the club competed in II Lyga. After the first half of the season, the club was in 3rd position. FK NFA withdrew mid-season and their license was taken over by FC Stumbras, who went on to reach the first place. In 2017, FK NFA was re-established in II Lyga, won the top spot and gained promotion to I Lyga. In the 2018 I Lyga season, the club reached the 10th position. Central Stadium of Jonava is a multi-purpose stadium in Jonava, Lithuania. It currently has a capacity for 2,580 spectators. History The stadium underwent a phased reconstruction process. In 2017, a modular, movable grandstand was installed on the eastern perimeter, designed to serve either the main stadium, or the adjacent artificial pitch, with a flexible configuration allowing mixed in-between utilization between the two. Following this, construction on the main stand commenced on the West edge in 2017 and concluded in 2021 with the inauguration of the new Main stand, boasting over 2,000 seating capacity, marking the stadium's official reopening. Subsequently, in the same year, a second reconstruction of the opposing Eastern stand commenced, to erect a permanent tribune. 2023 A Lyga
The 2023 A Lyga, for sponsorship reasons also called Optibet A lyga was the 34th season of the A Lyga, the top-tier football league of Lithuania. The season began on 3 March 2023 and concluded on 12 November 2023. The winners (Panevėžys) qualified for the 2024–25 Champions League first qualifying round. The runners-up ( Žalgiris) and third-placed team (Šiauliai) qualified for the 2024–25 Conference League first qualifying round. The ninth-placed team (Džiugas) qualified for the A Lyga play-off, winning to retain their place in the league. The bottom-placed team ( Riteriai) were relegated to the 2024 LFF I Lyga.
