Ezio Vendrame
Ezio Vendrame (21 November 1947 – 4 April 2020) was an Italian writer, manager, and footballer, who played as a midfielder. Early life Vendrame was born in Casarsa della Delizia, Province of Pordenone, Italy. Footballing career Vendrame began his playing career in the Udinese youth sector at the age of 13, and later moved to Serie A side SPAL in 1967, but did not make a single appearance for the team. He later played for Torres, and subsequently Siena in 1969, before returning to SPAL once again, in Serie C; he also played for Roverto. He made his Serie A debut with Vicenza in 1971, where he rose to hero status due to his performances; he remained with the club until 1974, when he earned a move to Napoli; however, he only remained with the latter side for a season, as he soon fell out of favour with the club's strict manager – Luís Vinício – and struggled to gain playing time, obtaining only three appearances during his time with the team. Casarsa della Delizia, simply known as Casarsa (Standard Friulian: ; Western Friulian: ), is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about northwest of Trieste and about east of Pordenone. Playmaker
In association football, a playmaker is a player who controls the flow of the team's play, and is often involved in offensively and defensively playing passing moves which lead to goals, through their vision, technique, ball control, creativity and passing ability. In English football, the term overlaps somewhat with an attacking midfielder, but the two types of midfielders are not necessarily the same, as playmakers are not necessarily constrained to a single position. Squad numbers are used in association football to identify and distinguish players that are on the field. Numbers very soon became a way to also indicate position, with starting players being assigned numbers 1–11, although in the modern game they are often influenced by the players' favourite numbers and other less technical reasons, as well as using "surrogates" for a number that is already in use. However, numbers 1–11 are often still worn by players of the previously associated position. The Serie D () is the top level of semi-professional football in the country. The fourth tier of the Italian league system, the competition sits beneath the third professional league, Serie C. It is administered by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and is organized by the Roman ''Comitato Interregionale'' (Interregional Committee), a "league in the league" inside the LND. Corner Kick
A corner kick is the method of restarting play in a game of association football when the ball goes out of play over the goal line, without a goal being scored and having last been touched by a member of the defending team. Stadio Silvio Appiani
Stadio Silvio Appiani is a multi-use stadium in Padua, Italy. It was initially used as the stadium of Calcio Padova matches. It was replaced by Stadio Euganeo in 1994.
