Eva Pavlová
Eva Pavlová (née Zelená; born 5 November 1964) is a Czech military officer who has been the first lady of the Czech Republic since March 2023 as the wife of President Petr Pavel. Pavlová also serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Czech Army reserve and as a member of the municipal assembly in her home municipality of Černouček. Early life and education Pavlová graduated from grammar school and, as part of her sports activities, was mainly involved in shooting. After graduating in 1983, she continued her studies at the Female Military Vocational School at the High Military Aviation School in Košice. In 1985, she decided to continue her military career and signed up to study at the Military Political Academy in Bratislava in a program intended for future communist political commissars. The First Lady of the Czech Republic () is the hostess of the Prague Castle, advisor to the president, and often plays a role in social activism. The position is traditionally held by the wife of the president of the Czech Republic, concurrent with his term of office. Velvet Revolution
The Velvet Revolution () or Gentle Revolution () was a non-violent transition of power in what was then Czechoslovakia, occurring from 17 November to 28 November 1989. Popular demonstrations against the one-party government of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia included students and older dissidents. The result was the end of Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, 41 years of one-party rule in Czechoslovakia, and the subsequent dismantling of the command economy and conversion to a parliamentary republic. On 17 November 1989 (International Students' Day), riot police suppressed a Student activism, student demonstration in Prague. Zuzana Čaputová
Zuzana Čaputová (; Strapáková; born 21 June 1973) is a Slovak politician, lawyer and environmental activist who served as the fifth president of Slovakia from 2019 to 2024. Čaputová is the first woman to hold the presidency, as well as the youngest president in the history of Slovakia, elected at the age of 45. Čaputová first became known by prevailing in a decade-long struggle against the situating of a toxic landfill in her hometown of Pezinok. Order Of The Crown (Netherlands)
The Order of the Crown () is a house order of the Dutch Royal House. The order came into being as a result of Queen Juliana's reorganization of the Order of the House of Orange (Huisorde van Oranje) in 1969. The 18 classes of the house order were no longer felt to be appropriate in the ever more egalitarian Dutch society of the 1960s. The Order was divided into five subdivisions. As a house order it is not subject to ministerial responsibility or influence, but is awarded at the discretion of the Dutch monarch alone.
