Ethan Herrera Alvano (born July 28, 1996) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player who plays for Wonju DB Promy of the Korean Basketball League (KBL). He played college basketball for the Eastern Michigan Eagles and the CSU San Marcos Cougars. Listed at 6 ft 0 in (1.82 m), he then went on to play in the Philippines, Germany, and currently, South Korea. Early life and high school career Alvano was born in Corona, California, to Ramon and Rowena Alvano, where he grew up with one brother and one sister. However, his father died on July 3, 2011. As a senior, Alvano averaged 23.2 points, 5.8 assists, 3.9 steals and 3.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 47% from the field, including 48% from 3-point range, and 86% from the free throw line. He led Corona High School to its first 20-win season since 2005–06. Sedrick Barefield (born November 18, 1996) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the Taipei Fubon Braves of the P. League+. He played college basketball for the SMU Mustangs and the Utah Utes. The 2018–19 ABL season was the ninth season of competition of the ASEAN Basketball League. The regular season started on 16 November 2018 and ended on 28 March 2019. Teams All the teams in 2017–18 season returned for this season.
