''Espace-temps'' (English: Space-time) is the debut solo album by French singer and rapper Maska released on October 20, 2014. It has 15 tracks. There are several thousand copies sold thanks to flagship titles such as "Prie pour moi" (feat. Gims), "Profite de ma life" (ft DR Beriz and Black M, with the exclusive participation of Noom Diawara for the clip) or "Rien sans Les autres". Genesis After the enormous success of Sexion d'Assaut, the various members of the group embark on solo projects. If Lefa and Barack Adama are withdrawing from the music industry, this is not the case for Gims who, in 2013, released his first album ''Subliminal'' which was a public success with around 1,100,000 copies sold. Maska (rapper)
Bastien Vincent, known by his stage name Maska (born 21 May 1985 in Paris), is a French rapper and dancer. He is a founding member of the French rap/hip hop collective Sexion d'Assaut. In October 2014, Maska released his first solo album'', Espace-temps'', which ranked 14th on the Top Albums in France. Early life Originally from Lozère, he grew up in Paris in the 9th arrondissement while mingling with his friends, most of whom would later become part of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assault. He grew up in a rich neighborhood despite his family having a substandard income, a situation much early in Bastien's life which would leave him with feelings of unease. Having experienced a musical awakening quite young thanks to his parents, Maska became a fan of French rap who, unlike Gims, ended up receiving a rather American musical education, influenced by Sisqó, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Johnny Clegg. Karim Fall, better known by his stage name Lefa (born 28 November 1985 in Paris), is a French rapper and dancer. He is a founding member of the French rap / hip hop collective Sexion d'Assaut. He has also released solo materials in 2015 and 2016. In June 2015 he released his debut solo album ''Monsieur Fall'' with big commercial success. He was born to the Senegalese jazz musician Cheikh Tidiane Fall and his mother was a French choreographer and art therapist Christiane de Rougemont. He grew up in the 18e arrondissement of Paris and his beginnings were in breakdance. He has closely collaborated with artists Black M and Gims, also members of Sexion d'Assaut, appearing on many of their albums. His friend Maître Gims named him Lefa (French slang for Fall, Lefa's family name). Dadju Djuna Nsungula (; born 2 May 1991), better known by the mononym Dadju or at times Prince Dadj, is a French singer. He was signed to the label Wati B and in 2017 signed with Polydor Records of Universal Music Group. He was a member of the musical formation Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016. The duo was part of the label Wati B and released the album ''Indéfini''. The duo announced that they were breaking up so they can each follow solo careers. Dadju released his solo album ''Gentleman 2.0'' in 2017. Personal life Dadju comes from a musical family. His father is Djanana Djuna, a Congolese vocalist of Papa Wemba's band. ''Subliminal'' () is the debut solo album by Congolese-French singer and rapper Maître Gims. The 18-track album was released 20 May 2013 on Wati B and Monstre Marin Corporation, the latter founded by Maître Gims himself. The lyrics were all by Maître Gims whereas the music was by Maître Gims, Renaud Rebillaud and Stan-E Music. Sexion d'Assaut (), formerly known as 3ème Prototype (for "Troisième Prototype" ; en, "3rd Prototype"), is a French hip hop band formed in 2002, composed of eight Parisian rappers. They are signed to independent record label Wati B, which is under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment France. The founding members were L.I.O. Pétrodollars, Black M, Maska and Lefa.
